Yup... Barf...

Debbie was right, this bowl was what our Mom put beside us when we were sick. I can still hear the clanking of that ring on the side whenever you moved the bowl. I rediscovered this bowl up at the cabin and got a good laugh and thought I would post it for my sibling's nostaglia.

What a HOOT! You never know the impact of "routine life" as it slips by silently leaving in it's wake nuggets of memories, both good and bad. I am not getting rid of that bowl. It's too useful. HA!

That's funny. My sister's and I have things like that that my mom never gave a second thought to but definitely mean something to us. What's really funny is that Garrett wasn't feeling well at all yesterday after school. His body usually reacts to not feeling well by throwing up so we know we can't put him to bed without a bucket and towels next to his bed. Mike couldn't find the usual bucket so he grabbed my big metal mixing bowl like that (without the ring) to sit next to Garrett's bed. :)

Is that the same one??? The one I remember had a smaller ring and was slightly dented. This one looks different to me. If I'm remembering correctly, I think Mom got a new one, and it's smaller than the original barf bucket...

Gross.
