Fridge Art.
First, I must give thanks to my parents for the donation of not one fridge, but two. When my parents moved into their house several years back, they purchased new appliances and gave Byron and I their old, but nice, side-by-side fridge. Unfortunately, this fridge finally decided to give up and not close its door-thus leaving us with warm milk and many other warm foods. Luckily, my parents had an old stand-by, from who knows where, and they gave that one to us as well. So now, we are using this fridge and I decorated it with all the great pictures we received last year (mostly for Christmas). I still enjoy looking at everyone and look forward to newer ones this next Christmas.
The Fields, Mike and Janie, had a great idea this Christmas and following year. They vowed to pull out one picture a week (or so) that they received from Christmas and would pray for that person/family. So, with that inspiration, I will pray for each person on my fridge as I get the milk or eggs out. If you aren't on my fridge, send a picture. However, I can still pray for you without having your picture:) If you aren't sure whether or not you are on my fridge, you might be able to click on the picture to enlarge it.
I love you all and God Bless!

Baby Nursery Fabric.
And now, the moment you have all been waiting for....
Okay, so maybe not, but here are two pictures of the fabric purchased for Owen's nursery. Now all I have to do is sew. However, that feat sounds overwhelming. One step at a time, right?! I have washed all the fabric and am in the middle of ironing it all. Next will be cutting out the patterns. So, step by step, it will get done, oh yes, it will get done.

The Latest Distraction.
Here is my latest distraction, not to mention all the awesome baby stuff I have been given by such generous and loving people. More on that later.
Byron and I have been distracted lately by a computer game. *sigh* We are addicted... I will post the address here, but I am warning you now... It is addicting! The sad thing is that there is no value to it other than to mindlessly entertain yourself for a few minutes at a time.

A Heavenly Inheritance.
1 Peter 1:6-9 NKJV'All believers face such trials when they let their light shine into the darkness. We must accept trials as part of the refining process that burns away impurities and prepares us to meet Christ. Trials teach us patience and help us grow to be the kind of people God wants.
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith-the salvation of your souls.
As gold is heated, impurities float to the top and can be skimmed off. Steel is tempered or strengthened by heating it in fire. Likewise, our trials, struggles, and persecutions refine and strengthen our faith, making us useful to God.' (-my Bible's commentary)
God put this on my heart tonight and it seemed that this is what I was to post. Some pretty powerful stuff.
